What this site collects
- Contact form: your name, email, optional phone number, project stage and location, decision deadline, preferred next step, optional referral source, and your brief project summary. The form is processed by FormSubmit and delivered to Umbra by email. Please do not submit confidential documents, financial account details, medical information or other sensitive records through this form.
- Review documents: we confirm the scope and document-transfer method before requesting project files. Confidential review files are stored and analyzed on firm-controlled local systems. Website hosting, initial inquiry and email transport, billing, and encrypted offsite backups use service providers. Local analysis does not mean that inquiry or email transport is local. We do not send confidential review documents to external AI services without a separate written agreement.
- Purchases: payments are handled by Stripe. Umbra sees your name, email, and what you bought. Umbra never sees or stores your card number.
- Site analytics: this site uses Umami for cookieless visit analytics, including pages viewed, referring sites, browser and device information, and approximate country information. Umami describes using request information to derive anonymous session identifiers. We do not send form contents or client documents as analytics events.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Stripe and FormSubmit may set cookies on their own pages during checkout or form delivery.
What Umbra does not do
- Sell, rent, or share your information or your documents with anyone, other than the service providers above who are needed to deliver what you asked for.
- Send marketing emails. You get replies to what you sent and nothing else.
- Use your documents to train any software or model.
Retention and deletion
We normally keep documents from a paid review on our active working systems for two years after the engagement ends, unless you request earlier deletion or we agree otherwise in writing. Email info@umbra-us.com to ask what we hold or request return or deletion of your documents and contact details. We will remove requested information from active working systems, except records we must retain by law, and explain any limited retention that applies. Copies may remain in protected backups until those copies are removed through our backup process and the backup provider's applicable deletion process. These retained copies remain protected, are not used for another purpose, and are subject to the same deletion restrictions if restored. We will confirm what we removed and explain any remaining copy or deletion limit; we do not promise immediate erasure of every backup or provider copy.
Texas residents
Umbra Enterprises, LLC is a small business under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. It does not sell personal data, does not process sensitive personal data for any purpose other than the review you requested, and honors Global Privacy Control signals where they apply.
